The “Sri Ganapathi Urban co-operative bank” Established on 27 July 1915. The first president was Sri B. Raghavachar, with key figures serving as the initial secretary and treasurer in 1915, when a group of members came together with a shared vision — to create a bank that would serve people, not just profits. Guided by the principles of co-operation, mutual respect, and shared responsibility, they pooled their resources to establish a member-owned financial institution that could provide fair, accessible banking to all.
